Dallas Cowboys cornerback Mike Jenkins just finished his best season as a pro, and now, he will be rewarded.
Jenkins was selected to represent the Cowboys and the NFC in the Pro Bowl, Sunday, Jan. 31 at Sun Life Stadium in Miami.
“It feels good to be with some of the elite players in the NFL,” Jenkins said.
Jenkins, who just completed his second year after he was drafted in the first round (25th overall) in 2008 out of South Florida by the Cowboys, set a career high and led the team with five interceptions and was credited with 23 passes defended in helping solidify the Cowboys defense and help Dallas to the NFC playoffs. Jenkins made 60 tackles and started 15 games.
Jenkins, originally a Pro Bowl alternate, was picked as a replacement for injured Viking Antoine Winfield.
